Time for a break…
As you may know, The Code Crimson was launched almost three years ago by the lovely Lisa and your humble writer Elizabeth, who hates talking about herself in the third person.
There have been some big upheavals and major changes and LIFE STUFF going on with each of us separately, which has alas limited the time Lisa and I have had to devote to The Code Crimson together. However, we just featured a comic in an art show inspired by Ovid’s Metamorphosis in jolly old England. The final piece was huge, almost 6 feet by 6 feet. We’re putting together another comic for an upcoming show about Norse mythology as well.
Meanwhile, Lisa will be working on improving her own online store and making more solo art. Go check out Coma Girl’s Facebook page for more details, and to keep up with her latest adorable masterpieces.
As for me, I am working on launching an exciting new graphic novel! Enigmatic Patterns: The Life and Death of Alan Turing tells the incredible and tragic story of the man behind the idea of the universal machine, the father of artificial intelligence and a pioneer in computer science. There’s a new update to that website in progress, and there’s a Kickstarter launching very soon. Please do check it out!
We’ve been so incredibly proud of the work we’ve both done on The Code Crimson, and worry not, we will be returning. In the meantime, we’ve got the prologue and two complete issues to peruse, and the third issue in progress will be wrapped up in 2015.
